The Crown Hotel, Lynton
The Crown is a well run Lynton pub, Rachel welcomes you whilst Lee makes sure you receive a quality meal, the public house is very well situated in Lynton Old Town, The menu has a great selection of classic dishes which makes it perfect for large groups.
From a personal point of view I enjoy the well kept Ales, The Tribute here is as good as it gets.
Charlie Fridays, Lynton
Well known for being the funky place in Lynton, Charlie Fridays are a massive hit during the day times and function as a quality coffee shop.
Charlie Fridays is also a great place to visit during evenings with pop up night and always a focus on quality, pizza night is really popular. Owner Anna is great at updating social media so check out what's on before you arrive and get booked up.
The Vanilla Pod Restaurant, Lynton
A really interesting menu awaits at The Vanilla Pod , Head Chef Dasha creates dishes from the Mediterranean, Middle East and more. The restaurant is situated in the beautiful old town. The Vanilla pod sells local Lager Tarka 4 which is a refreshing drink to enjoy with a meal.
The Old Bank Restaurant, Lynton
Relatively new to the Lynton Scene but this restaurant has caused quite a stir, young entrepreneur owner Liam has created a high end experience, serving top quality dishes with a focus often on Steaks which are aged and matured in house.
Head Chef Matt is well known for his quality creations around Exmoor and rightly so.
The Oak Room Restaurant, Lynton
A restaurant that's quality has stood the test of time, this has been one of Lyntons favourite restaurants for as long as I can remember, The Oak Room serves authentic Spanish cuisine in a beautiful restaurant with amazing ambiance, situated opposite the Town Hall.
The restaurant is also popular for customers attending Lynton Cinema.
The Sandrock Hotel, Lynton
Adored by locals and visitors alike, the sandrock is a traditional pub at the top end of Lynton, Chef Andy cooks pub classics and has a great reputation for a cracking Sunday roast, Belly pork dishes and tasty Srilanken Curries, the pub serves a great selection of drinks over the bar, Landlady Jane makes the Sandrock a very welcoming place to visit.

What Sarah is to the Kitchen Catherine is front of house, always offering a warm welcome and great local knowledge, you will be sure to enjoy a meal here.
The Village Inn, Lynmouth
This is what a pub should feel like, nautical styling with a real pub feel.
Well known for Bevs quality home cooked food, this would be a great find.
The Village Inn also offers a great selection of drinks from the bar and is well positioned in Lynmouth back street.
The Ancient Mariner, Public House Lynmouth
No investment locally has exceeded The Ancient Mariner, There are many areas to dine, with a nautical theme also a feel of quality and attention to detail.
A hard working chef team create quality meals that suit all requirements, there is always a large selection of drinks available.
The Pub itself is situated right in the centre of Lynmouth, what's not to love.
The Rising Sun, Lynmouth
Situated overlooking Lynmouth harbour, The Rising sun couldn't be better positioned.
Head Chef Tim has a reputation locally for quality food, being situated so close to the harbour the menu offers a good selection of seafood alongside other dishes.
Over the bar Badger Beers are served alongside a great selection of wines and spirits.
Although last on our list the Rising Sun is the most iconic eatery here and an absolutely must visit if in the area.
